A Little Bit of History of Miraculous Place |
|
This
island was formed by two majestic volcanoes. The first is called Koolau.
It is located on the west of the island. The second volcano is called
Waianae. It is located on the eastern side of the island. If you'll
look at it on the map, it looks like a trapezoid or parallelogram. The island of Oahu is one of the largest and miraculous ones in Hawaii. He ranks third in the world for its magnitude. And its area composes 1,545 square km. He is also the length of 71 km and the coastline runs about 366 km. The majority of the population of Hawaii is living here. It composes more than eight hundred thousand people. In addition, there is the capital of the state of Hawaii is Honolulu. It combines all the charm of civilization as far as it is possible. There are entertainments, shops, diverse restaurants, theaters, night clubs, etc. Also you can see the beautiful nature. It is called a paradise due to its colorful gardens, large plantations and beautiful beaches. The history of this city begins with 1845, when King III Kamehameha conquered the capitals. The capital of this town is Honolulu. That's when the construction of the Palace Iolani began. It is the main attraction of Honolulu and the only palace in the United States. Oahu Island is a great place for tourists who want to join a paradise. Due to humid tropical climate the weather is always warm, but the temperature is not usually above 32 degrees centigrade and never drops below 16 degrees centigrade. Surfing is the main sport on the island especially it is developed on the North part of it. And of course scuba diving is very popular. Thus, the island of Oahu combines all the conveniences, which people are dreaming during their vacation. The local people are very attentive and helpful. By the way, they have only 12 letters in their alphabet. And we noticed that many words consisted of vowels and two or one consonants. It is really miraculous. I think a paradise should be as we see it here, in Oahu Island. |
